The Clonmel borstal was the only borstal institution in the country and the Borstal Association was a non-denominational philanthropic association which supported the inmates on their release. The Immaculate Conception

On Tuesday, 8th December, we celebrate the fact that Mary, the Mother of Jesus and our heavenly Mother has been gifted by God with the special grace of being always sinless. She is the one in all creation who said “yes” to whatever God asked of her and in so doing risked everything - her family, friends, even life itself. Because of her “yes” to God all generations have called her blessed. Like Mary, we too are being called to make room for God in our lives.

Tuesday is a holyday of obligation and Masses for the feast will be as follows:
Monday: Franciscan Friary - 7.OOpm
             Ss. Peter & Paul’s - 7.3Opm
